DiCoEnviro database

The DiCoEnviro (Dictionnaire fondamental de l’environnement) is a novel specialized dictionary which contains basic terms in the field of the environment. The compilation of the records, like in the DiCoInfo, is based on the theoretical principles and the methodology of Explanatory Combinatorial Lexicology (ECL). The annotation of the contexts is based on the methodology developed for the FrameNet project.

The online version is encoded in XML format. This project was carried out with the collaboration of Guy Lapalme, RALI, Benoît Alain, Patrick Baril-Robichaud, Patrick Drouin, Marie-Ève Laneville, Benoît Robichaud and Vincent St-Amour. Records and annotations pertaining to the climate change field are currently available.
