Dominic Forest is Professor at the École de bibliothéconomie et des sciences de l’information
(School of Library science and Information science) of the Université de Montréal. He is currently
involved in teaching and research activities related to data mining (extraction, organization and
visualization of information) and use of digital information (Web technologies, information
architecture, website design, Web 2.0). He is an active member of several research projects in
the field of digital humanities. He has a B.a. and an M.a. in Philosophy as well as a Ph.D. in
cognitive computer science.
