The ÉCLECTIK Team is composed of researchers with an interest in terminology. The focus is on computerized processing and on formal modelling of the lexicon, using lexical functions to encode links between terms and collocational phenomena (L’Homme, 2002). One if the team’s research foci is the semantic modelling of specialized lexicons and the transposition of this modelling into dictionaries in electronic format. Another focus is the elaboration of methods and tools for the automatic and semi-automatic acquisition of specialized lexicons. Finally, the team also disseminates its work on the use and evaluation of software applications for specialized corpus processing.
